1. Running home to confirm that I was not in fact full of a raging case of swine flu.  By the time I made it back to my apartment and convinced my room-mate that rubbing alcohol is capable of sterilizing thermometer, my migraine and stomach pains and general difficulty with holding my hand steady had subsided quite a bit.  I double checked my temperature: 98.6 degrees.  Just your average case of three-hour exam meltdown.
2. Watched the newest episode of How I Met Your Mother over a glass of boxed wine and a bowl of Amy’s soup.  The soup was on sale at PA last week, and now I have enough cans to last for all of January.
3. Braved the snow to visit Press Cafe, and distract C, who was working on anthro flashcards.  Bought a fondant brownie, and gave her half to cheer her up.
4. Pre-travel all-nighter.  In my year-and-a-half of college, I have pulled an all-nighter before every major train-ride, flight, or car trip.  Bus rides are the exception because I usually take the overnight.  I watched all of season eight of Scrubs, finished off the remainder of my instant coffee supply, pinched myself to stay awake, alphabetized my bookshelf, and packed.  When the sun came up I went to McDonalds and got more coffee and a cinnamon bun.  I felt like an actual zombie.
5. 14 hour Amtrak trip home.  No joke.  Spent a lot of time sleeping, and looking out the window at the gorgeous Adirondacks.  Dreamed about Lorentz transformations, and listened to a few good TED talks.  Had a piece of salmon during the layover in New York, despite the fact that I am vegetarian.

And oh.  Upon arriving back in suburbia, sort of maybe made this blog and might rejoin the internet again. Sigh.

*That’s not what the class was called, but that’s what my final was on, and it sounds way cooler than  Dynamics and Motions of Simple Systems.
